CLINTON, Tenn. (WATE) — David Queener, a member of the Clinton City Council who previously spent decades working as a police officer, has died.
The Clinton Police Department called him a dedicated public servant who will be deeply missed by family, friends, and colleagues in an announcement on Friday.
Queener spent more than 43 years as a member of the police department. He was the agency’s first detective and ultimately retired as Chief of Detectives. He also served the community as the Security Director for the Anderson County Fair Association.
