MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WAKA) – Montgomery native and well-known businessman Raymond Cohen has died at 95.
Cohen passed away Wednesday. His family business, Cohens, has long been a landmark shopping destination on Eastern Boulevard for people wanting to buy televisions, appliances and other items.
Cohen was born on August 2, 1931. He graduated from Lanier High School and attended the University of Alabama. While pursuing his education, his family says Raymond discovered that his greatest joy was working alongside his father in the family business, Cohen Amusement Company…
