Tennessee P.O.S.T. Commission reviews case involving former Nashville officers

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) — A former Metro Nashville Police Department officer who admitted to an on-duty affair is back in the spotlight.

The Tennessee Peace Officers Standards and Training (P.O.S.T.) Commission discussed administrative reporting failures involving two former Metro Nashville Police Department officers Friday morning.

According to Kevin Green, a P.O.S.T. investigator, the commission opened an inquiry after a news outlet reported that one of the former MNPD officers was no longer working with the department, despite their status displaying they were an active employee. Additionally, former MNPD Officer Lisa Vidrios was listed as resigned, not in good standing, but this has since been corrected to say she resigned from the department in good standing.
