SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — Four people have been taken to the hospital, including two in critical condition, after a multi-vehicle crash on I-15 in San Diego Friday afternoon.
The crash happened on the southbound lanes of the 15 freeway near Clairemont Mesa Boulevard around 2:10 p.m.
According to California Highway Patrol and images captured from the scene, four vehicles were involved, including a silver Toyota truck, a silver SUV, a dark blue Lexus SUV and a silver sedan.
San Diego Fire and Rescue confirmed four people were taken to hospitals following the crash, including two in critical condition. One person had to be extracted from their vehicle and their condition is unknown, officials added.
