A repeat fleeing suspect was arrested in Central Florida after years of evasion. The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office arrested the wanted suspect who spent years evading law enforcement while endangering the public and deputies.
Members of the Auto Theft Unit located and arrested 35-year-old Everaldo Alvarez Borqueno, who was wanted on warrants from multiple jurisdictions including the Hernando County Sheriff’s Office and the Florida Department of Corrections.
According to local law enforcement, Alvarez Borqueno has a documented history of avoiding arrest. During previous encounters with law enforcement, he fled at high rates of speed through public roadways, rammed patrol vehicles, and demonstrated a complete disregard for the safety of deputies and members of the community.
