‘Random’ lottery ticket selection earns Arkansas woman $100,000

Aug. 21 (UPI) — An Arkansas woman visited a lottery vending machine and picked a ticket at random, earning her a $100,000 prize.

The Mississippi County resident, identified as Bonnie W., told Arkansas Scholarship Lottery officials she was at the Kroger store in Blytheville when she visited the vending machine.

Bonnie selected a scratch-off ticket at random, and the 50X ticket turned out to be a $100,000 winner.

“I just pushed a random button,” Bonnie said. “I didn’t realize it would have such a big prize. I’m still shocked!”…
