NWS confirms Lancaster County damage caused by tornado

LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM)– The National Weather Service (NWS) confirmed the damage across Lancaster County communities was caused by a tornado.

The NWS, along with the Lancaster County Emergency Management, the Columbia Borough Police Department, and students from Millersville University, conducted a damage survey on August 21, and preliminary information found that a tornado was responsible for the damage in Columbia Borough on Thursday.
