PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — The redevelopment of Parcel 9 — a piece of land that used to be connected to I-195 — is officially complete.
The I-195 Redevelopment District Commission celebrated the grand opening of Pennrose’s Tandem Thursday afternoon. The new high-rise, located off Alves Way, is made up of 61 mixed-income, workforce and market-rate rental homes.
“With Tandem now open, we’ve delivered on the full vision for Parcel 9,” Pennrose’s Karmen Cheung said. “We’re honored to welcome Tandem’s residents home.”…
