The San Pasqual Band of Mission Indians has through the years always kept a tight lid on bad news and taken the attitude that “tribal business is tribal business and nobody else’s business.” However it is having a hard time pursuing that strategy with the scandal involving its newly minted police chief—who has a history of felony and misdemeanor arrests in nearby counties.
