The Irving Police Department said it’s investigating a deadly wrong-way crash that unfolded early Saturday morning and resulted in the arrest of two people.
Police said it happened around 2:40 a.m. along State Highway 114 near MacArthur Boulevard. According to the department, a vehicle was traveling west in the eastbound lanes of the highway when it hit a motorcycle head-on. The motorcyclist, who has not yet been identified, was declared dead at the scene.
The department said the vehicle driver was found to be intoxicated and was arrested. A passenger was also arrested for public intoxication. Neither has been publicly identified…
