SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — Head to downtown Sioux Falls for an end of summer block party. Hungry Hearts will host a backpack, school supply and shoe giveaway. There will also be a rock wall, dunk tank, and live DJ. It goes from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the parking lot of the Avera Downtown building on East 11th Street.
Try the Central States Fair in Rapid City. Some of the events on the docket Saturday include a trading card show at 2 p.m., Fair-E-Oke at 4 p.m. and the Mountain States Ford Demolition Derby at 7 p.m.
It’s another weekend of racing at Sioux Valley Cycle Club. Saturday, you can watch short track bikes. Gates open at 1 p.m., sign-ups are from 1:30 p.m. until 3:15 p.m., and practice is at 4 p.m., with heats and mains to follow. There will also be a special tribute to Mark Lambrecht.
