Days after a former Penn State student was accused of being the ringleader of a cocaine trafficking ring involving two fraternities, his brother was charged with unrelated drug offenses after a boating incident in Centre County.
A pontoon boat operated by Sebastiano M. Abbatiello, 20, of New York, was stopped July 10 by a pair of waterways conservation officers with the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission at Foster Joseph Sayers Dam in Centre County. Fourteen passengers were aboard the boat, according to an affidavit of probable cause filed Thursday, and Abbatiello was accused of possessing a small amount of cocaine.
