SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (Edited News Release/KY3) – Due to a large water main break overnight in Southeast Springfield, City Utilities is issuing a precautionary Boil Water Advisory.
The advisory affects roughly 1,200 customers. The affected area is primarily south and east of Lake Springfield. CU stated the water main break happened near the Highway 60/65 interchange.
City Utilities said they have notified affected customers of the advisory by text or phone call to the number linked to their CU account. CU stated that the water main break has been repaired, but the advisory is still in effect…
