Texas’ University Medical Center of El Paso, the region’s safety-net hospital, is set for an infrastructure upgrade designed to help keep care available during severe weather.
The hospital has secured $1.1 million for work beneath Alberta Avenue, where aging water lines will be replaced to improve resilience at its main campus.
