Houston Heights house next to controversial playground gets $40K price slash

A Houston Heights home bordering a restaurant at the center of months of neighborhood complaints and an ongoing legal fight is up for sale—and its asking price has already been slashed by $40,000.

The three-bedroom home beside Long Weekend is now listed for $525,000 after the seller reduced its price from $565,000 on June 12, according to the Houston Association of Realtors listing. The $40,000 reduction represents a 7.08 percent price cut.
