GRANITE CITY, Ill. – More than dozen animals were rescued from a Granite City home last week as part of an animal cruelty investigation.
According to Major Charles Bremer, a Granite City Police Department spokesman, police served a search warrant in the 2400 block of Hodges Avenue on Tuesday, Aug. 18.
Police seized 23 dogs and two cats. A suspect was arrested and remains jailed pending formal charges, Bremer said…
