1:23 p.m.: A Belmont resident reported check fraud. She mailed a check on March 15 in front of the Waverley Square Post Office made out to Eye/Smile for $36.25. Today she learned the check was washed and cashed for $1,200 on July 22, 2026 and changed to Fabienne Jeune with a signature that was not hers. The check date was also changed from March 15, 2026 to July 22, 2026.…
