CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) – The driver accused of hitting and killing North Randall Firefighter Cameron Duvall while driving under the influence, was indicted by a Cuyahoga County Grand Jury.
Joseph Simmons, of Geneva, was indicted on the charges of:
- Aggravated vehicular homicide
- Aggravated vehicular assault
- Involuntary manslaughter
- Driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs
Simmons will be arraigned on Sept. 3.
Pepper Pike police said the deadly accident happened at 2:48 a.m. on July 18 on Fairmount Boulevard near Brainard Road.
