Portions of Chautauqua County got inundated Sunday as multiple rounds of showers and thunderstorms brought heavy rain to the area. The initial round early Sunday morning triggered a flash flood warning for portions of the county. The heavy rain caused water levels to rise on Canadaway Creek and led to flooding in some areas. Among them were a portion of Route 60 between Fredonia and Cassadaga, plus Willow Road underneath the CSX railroad overpass in the Town of Dunkirk.
