LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – For more than a year, drivers near the new Louisville VA Medical Center have navigated two major construction projects at once: a $130 million rebuild of the I-264 and U.S. 42 interchange, and the hospital itself.
Last week, the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs announced the hospital’s opening is now delayed by about a year — which may actually shorten, rather than lengthen, one of the biggest concerns for commuters in the area.
