SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — The annual Plumeria Festival returns to Balboa Park next weekend. Every year, the free event draws thousands of attendees to enjoy the Flower Show, Southern California’s largest potted plant sale and live entertainment.
The Southern California Plumeria Society hosts the colorful festival at the Casa del Prado. The festivities kick off at 10 a.m. and go until 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 5, and Sunday, Sept. 6.
Throughout the weekend, attendees can browse thousands of plants from 21 vendors, watch live entertainment from Polynesian dancers and musicians and enjoy Hawaiian food and snacks from Lil Orbits, Mochinatics, Hokulia Shave Ice and Shrimpholic…
