SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) — A traffic stop for a rolling violation led to the arrest of a 20-year-old man Saturday night after a Caddo Parish Sheriff’s deputy discovered a handgun, a 14-year-old minor, and approximately 172 grams of suspected ecstasy inside a vehicle, authorities said.
Police say Corporal J. Fourcade initiated the stop around 10:45 p.m. after observing a blue Honda Accord fail to stop at a stop sign while turning from Roy Road onto Shreveport-Blanchard Highway, according to Sheriff Henry Whitehorn Sr.
