CHARLES COUNTY, Md. (7News) — A D.C. 18-year-old is accused of stealing a car and trying to steal another after a late-night police chase in Waldorf, authorities said.
Charles County sheriff’s deputies were called around 1:48 a.m. Aug. 21 to the 15500 block of Woodward Place for reports of someone possibly breaking into cars while another person acted as a lookout near a Dodge Challenger.
As deputies arrived, they heard a car alarm and saw someone looking into a vehicle with a flashlight, according to the sheriff’s office. The person ran to the passenger side of the running Challenger, and the vehicle took off…
