The Christian County Sheriff’s office shared details about a wreck on Pembroke Road that resulted in possible injuries and a DUI charge on Thursday.
According to the sheriff’s office, Amber Jeannice of Hopkinsville was driving west on Pembroke Road when she reportedly drove off the roadway, hit an embankment and flipped multiple times. Witnesses reportedly told the 911 operator that Jeannice climbed out of the car and was walking around the scene, following the wreck.
First responders reported that Jeannice appeared to be under the influence of an unknown substance. She underwent some field sobriety testing, and deputies decided to charge her with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of a substance, driving on a DUI suspended license and failure of a non-owner operator to maintain required insurance…
