Disabled dog ‘Mr. Wiggles’ gets wheelchair from UF, needs permanent home

GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) — A disabled dog named Mr. Wiggles got a new set of wheels on Monday, and now he needs a permanent home.

Mr. Wiggles was born with a spinal issue that affects his hind legs. He received his new wheelchair at the University of Florida Veterinary Hospital.

His visit with TV20 News was his first outing with the new wheelchair, and he is still learning how to walk with it.

Mallory Kleinsasser, his foster mother, said she hopes to see him adopted by someone with a big yard and an open floor plan. She said the dog is great with kids and other pets…
