Another stretch of dangerous summer heat is building across San Diego County this week, with temperatures expected to climb well above average and extreme heat concerns expanding beyond the deserts.
The National Weather Service says temperatures will increase Monday through Wednesday, running about 8 to 12 degrees above average in many areas.
Inland communities could see afternoon highs ranging from 95 to 107 degrees, while the lower deserts are forecast to reach a scorching 110 to 115 degrees Tuesday through Friday…
