A driver faces charges after he intentionally crashed into a Delaware pub while drunk, police said.
On Aug. 15, around 1:30 a.m., Delaware state troopers responded to the Two Stones Pub on 1203 Christiana Road in Newark for a report of a vehicle crashing into the building. The responding troopers found an unoccupied Mitsubishi Lancer that had crashed into the front of the pub which was closed at the time with no one inside.
Investigators said they also found documents belonging to a man – later identified as 35-year-old Johnny Guzman of New Castle, Delaware, – inside the car.
A short time later, the troopers found Guzman walking westbound along Christiana Road, according to investigators. Guzman appeared to be intoxicated and refused to perform any field sobriety tests, police said…
