CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) – Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools Board Member Dr. Charlitta Hatch says the investigation the school board launched into Superintendent Dr. Crystal Hill was necessary. Even though it kept the district’s top educator on paid leave for nearly two months.
“I am so glad this investigation is over with, and I am also glad that we did it,” Hatch said.

Hatch said the board chose to look into concerns rather than wait to see if problems continued.
“I’d rather take the time and let’s look into this and make sure everything is good than to ignore it or to say let’s wait to see if it happens again in order to take action,” Hatch said…
