CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WWBT) – A state trooper was hurt after a crash on Interstate 95 in Chesterfield, according to Virginia State Police.
Around 9:20 p.m., a Virginia State Trooper responded to a crash on I-95 North, near Route 10, after a vehicle hit a VDOT truck at a work zone.
As the trooper was working to clear that crash, the trooper’s marked 2023 Ford Explorer and a VDOT Safety Service Patrol vehicle were in the left lane.
The Safety Service Patrol Vehicle had its arrow board activated while the drive worked to pick up traffic cones, and the trooper had his emergency lights activated…
