Koby Jacobson is having the best season of his professional career, picking up significant paychecks across the nation. During the past week, the Hawaii cowboy made some big moves in the World Standings race.
After winning just over $17,000 in five days, he is now inside the top 20. With just $6,000 between him and the top 15, Jacobson could be headed to his first National Finals Rodeo (NFR) this year.
Cowtown Rodeo Xtreme Bulls – Woodstown Pilesgrove, NJ
The fourth annual Cowtown Rodeo Xtreme Bulls finished up on August 11, providing electric rides across three rounds of competition. Though multiple NFR qualifiers were competing at the event, it was Jacobson who topped the final round and marked the highest ride of the weekend.
While he didn’t have much luck in the first round, the rest of his rides during the event made up for it. In Round 2, Jacobson drew Rafter G Rodeo’s Undesire-a-bull, a bull who was unridden this season until he matched up against the Hawaii native.
