Cedar Park, TX — SCHEELS is set to open its new Cedar Park location to the public Saturday, August 29.
The employee-owned sporting goods retailer says the more than 300,000-square-foot store at Cedarview will be its second Texas location and 35th nationwide. The store will feature more than 75 specialty shops, a 65-foot Ferris wheel, a 16,000-gallon saltwater aquarium, Ginna’s Cafe and Fuzziwig’s Candy Factory.
The grand opening celebration begins at 7 a.m. in the parking lot at 2150 Cedarview Drive. It will include giveaways, prize drawings, live music, food trucks, local mascots, drumlines and activities…
