First responders, parents discuss e-bike, scooter safety after Bennington boy’s death

BENNINGTON, Neb. (WOWT) – First responders, parents and kids gathered to discuss how to safely ride e-bikes and electric scooters, weeks after a Bennington child died in a crash involving a scooter.

Douglas County Sheriff Aaron Hanson said a group of young kids pulled into a parking lot while he was waiting there, and a couple of them were driving in the wrong lane.
