A nationwide dining corporation may be purchasing the Union Oyster House, a landmark Downtown Boston establishment that recently celebrated 200 years in operation.

A Boston Licensing Board agenda posted online Monday lists a pending liquor license transfer from the restaurant to Landry’s, the Texas-based company behind 600 restaurant, entertainment and gambling establishments. Locally, the Landry’s portfolio includes Chart House, Morton’s and several other upscale restaurants in Downtown Boston and the Seaport.
