VICTORIA COUNTY, Texas – Texas utilities are pitching a major new power project aimed at strengthening the grid from the Coastal Bend to the Houston area.
AEP Texas and Centerpoint Energy are proposing the Hillje-Blu Lacy Transmission Improvement Project, a new high-voltage line connecting planned substations in Wharton and Nueces counties.
