PORTLAND, Oregon — A teenage boy is warning others after he was hit and launched into the air by a car during an illegal street takeover in North Portland on Saturday night.
The teen, who asked not to be identified, said he went to the event to watch the action as people blocked off traffic, did donuts and sped off — a decision he now regrets.
