2 Augusta elementary school students overheard discussing bringing weapon to school

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) – Administrators at Monte Sano Elementary School are addressing an incident after two students were overheard discussing bringing a weapon to school, according to a letter sent to families on Wednesday.

In the letter, Principal Jasmine Scott informed parents that the conversation occurred during a class transition on Wednesday, which was overheard by others.
