NEW HILL, N.C. (WNCN) — A former FedEx employee was arrested Monday after being accused of stealing phones from delivery vehicles in Chatham County, court records show.
According to the Chatham County Sheriff’s Office, deputies received a report on July 28 of multiple phones going missing from FedEx delivery vehicles.
Surveillance footage showed a man identified as 42-year-old Hasaan Rashad Ray of Raleigh entering a FedEx warehouse near New Hill and remaining inside for a lengthy period of time, according to the sheriff’s office.
