Taste of Pinellas, a restaurant and music celebration, returns to St. Pete for first time in 13 years

One of St. Pete’s long beloved food experiences is back after 13 years, with organizers announcing the return of Taste of Pinellas on Saturday, February 6, 2027, at Tropicana Field. The return of Taste of Pinellas will feature an evening packed with 20 to 30 local restaurants serving up signature bites, live entertainment that organizers promise will bring serious energy, and enough community spirit to make even the most jaded person feel some very real feelings.

All for the kids

The occasion for the grand return? Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital is turning 100. That’s a full century of caring for kids across more than 50 specialties, and it’s earned the title of the No. 1 pediatric hospital in Florida three consecutive years running, according to U.S. News & World Report. It’s the only nationally ranked children’s hospital in the Tampa Bay region, and it’s now gearing up for even more growth, with a new hospital in Wesley Chapel slated to open in 2027.

So, what better way to close out a year-long centennial celebration than by bringing back the food festival that people have been talking about for over a decade? The answer is nothing. There’s absolutely, positively no better way.
