Second person sentenced in 2024 beating homicide of Erie man

(WJET/WFXP)– A second of four people charged in the fatal beating of an Erie man in 2024 pleaded guilty and was sentenced on Wednesday.

The Erie County District Attorney’s Office said 63-year-old Jack Defilippo pleaded guilty to two counts of simple assault and reckless endangerment for his role in the murder of 31-year-old Ledomperignon Eady.

With that guilty plea, Defilippo was sentenced to 11 and a half to 22 months in prison due to his cooperation in the case that led to 39-year-old Jeffery Edmund being convicted of third-degree murder in June…
