A man accused of breaking into a northeast Atlanta home was arrested after officers chased him on foot from the scene, according to police.
Atlanta police said officers responded to a reported burglary in progress around midnight on Aug. 21 near the 500 block of Linwood Avenue NE.
When officers arrived, they set up a perimeter around the home and began clearing the home. During the search, officers saw a man exiting through the front door, police said.
