GREER, S.C. (WSPA) – The city of Greer has covered up its Flock cameras, a decision that comes as people weigh the balance between public safety and privacy.
The flock safety camera system, a technology designed to read and capture vehicle license plates at a certain place and time, has created division across the Upstate. Many say there are both pros and cons, including Greer City Councilman Paul Lamb.
