CASCADE TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — The Gerald R. Ford International Airport is celebrating the completion of Phase 1 of the Terminal Enhancement Project.
Airport leaders say this is a significant milestone in its ELEVATE capital development program. On Wednesday morning, the airport shared its newest improvements.
“Today marks the opening of our new terminal enhancement project space, which is a combination of ticket counter space but really, behind the scenes, the baggage inspection system and sortation system that will be utilized by the TSA and the airlines,” explained Gerald R. Ford International Airport Authority President and CEO Tory Richardson.
