JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office on Wednesday released body camera footage showing the Aug. 11 fatal officer-involved shooting of a 22-year-old woman in Arlington.
The family of the woman who died, Asia Bennett, represented by prominent civil rights attorney Ben Crump, had been calling for the body camera video to be released since the shooting, saying she did not deserve what happened to her.
