EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — El Paso Police and its Crimes Against Persons Unit are asking for the community’s help in locating a 61-year-old man who was reported missing Wednesday afternoon, Aug. 26.
Melvin Garcia was transported to the Salvation Army, located at 4300 East Paisano, where he told an employee that he was taken to the wrong location after being dropped off from a medical facility, police said.
Garcia reportedly told the employee that he would find his way back and left on foot.
Garcia is described as 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighing 140-145 pounds. Police noted that he suffers from a mental disorder…
