JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) – A woman accused of embezzling some $95 million from the Jackson Area Federal Credit Union has come out in opposition of a request to put a trustee over her property, saying what her accusers have spent to secure the property so far has been “unnecessary, wasteful, and wholly unwarranted.”
The National Credit Union Administration Board (NCUAB) is suing Leigh Bridges, her husband Chad Bridges, and Tina Funez in U.S. District Court for allegedly embezzling and misspending $95 million in JAFCU funds.
