LAFAYETTE, La. (NEWS 15) — A Lafayette family lost everything after an electrical fire tore through their home while the father and son were away at work and school Wednesday morning, according to the Lafayette Fire Department.
Authorities reported firefighters responded to West Willow Street near Essie Street on Wednesday, Aug. 26, just before 8 a.m. after passersby noticed smoke coming from the home.
