Springfield restaurant to reopen after flash flood damage

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) – Vine Pairings at Creekside, a restaurant near Sequiota Park, plans to reopen after a flash flood damaged the building in June.

Denise Allsop and her son Austin opened the bar and restaurant last October.

“And we decided to open at this location because it’s just beautiful. It’s so gorgeous. I used to come here years ago, and the creek is beautiful. It’s so peaceful. And it’s just, I think it’s a well-hidden gem in Springfield,” Allsop said.

Flooding damaged the building in June

Business was steady for seven months until the morning of June 8, when neighbors sent a text saying the building was flooding…
