Gov. Larry Rhoden has awarded $500,000 to support the priorities of a task force he created. The Governor’s Resilience and Infrastructure Task Force is known as GRIT. The money comes from the governor’s Future Fund.
Lt. Gov. Tony Venhuizen chairs the task force. He stopped by the SDPB studios in Sioux Falls to answer questions about the purpose of the task force and what the group has learned about infrastructure vulnerabilities in South Dakota.
