Loudoun County plans to begin construction of the new Lovettsville Recycling Drop-Off Center at Lovettsville Community Park. The updated facility is designed to offer a more convenient experience for residents, with expanded recycling options for glass bottles and jars.
In alignment with the Board of Supervisors’ strategic initiative to promote more glass recycling countywide, relocating this facility provides the opportunity to feature dedicated glass-only collection containers. Separating glass from other materials helps ensure that it can be recycled more efficiently into high-quality products, decreasing the amount of glass disposed of as waste.
Located on park property near Lovettsville Park Drive, the relocated center will replace the existing recycling site behind the Lovettsville Diner, located at 2 N Berlin Pike (Route 287).
