BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — At least one person is in custody Wednesday night following a vehicle pursuit that lasted about half an hour, according to the Bakersfield Police Department.
The pursuit began just after 8 p.m. Aug. 26 at Highway 99 and White Lane when BPD units began chasing a theft suspect, according to police.

The chase came to an end at South Union Avenue and East Pacheco Road at 8:34 p.m., BPD said.
